40 Years On, Sabah Air Aviation

We had the pleasure to re brand Sabah Air Aviation with a new concept with photography and video production recently.  Sabah Air Aviation, which started operations in 1975, is one of the oldest general aviation companies in Malaysia. Sabah Air Aviation was set up as a Government Linked Company under the Sabah’s Ministry of Finance.  Through their outstanding safety record, today Sabah Air Aviation is a certified air operator and a leading provider of un-scheduled rotary and fixed wing services in Malaysia.

Their MISSION is to provide quality, safe and efficient services with good corporate governance.  Their VISION is to be the leading general aviation in the South East Asian region.

At the core of our high quality of services is Sabah Air Aviation’s workforce of more than 150 employees which comprises of flying, maintenance, supporting staffs and management team whom are approved as nominated post holds by Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia. Sabah Air Aviation’s fleet consists of seven different aircraft including helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. The diversity of our fleet ensures that we have a suitable aircraft for you whatever your requirements.

Sabah Air is also approved and certified in multiple field of services, safety and quality standards by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia, Department of Civil Aviation of Malaysia, Malaysian Aviation Commission and more.  Sabah Air provides a range of different services to industry, executives, and fun-lovers alike.

Apart from flight services, Sabah Air is fully equipped with modern maintenance facilities and we can provide general service or a thorough overhaul of your aircraft which is approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia.  Committed towards the development of a sustainable aviation industry for Sabah, Sabah Air is approved by the Civil Aviation Authorithy of Malaysia to conduct training and familiarisation courses.  Sabah Air’s training facilities occupies an area of 6,000 square feet and is able to train up to 30 students per session.

In order to provide efficient and cost effective services to their customers, Sabah Air Aviation’s aircrafts are stationed at strategic airports around Malaysia with their Headquarters in Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan and Tawau in Sabah, Subang in Selangor and Ipoh in Perak for Peninsular Malaysia.
